After suddenly developing eczema on my face and neck for the first time at the start of this year and the stress and loss of confidence this brought, Doctors prescribed steroid creams and pro topic which delivered short term relief but seemed to make the problem worse (turns out I have an allergy to an ingredient in steroid creams!) Despite assurances from dermatologists that the pro topic would be safe to use long term I knew my skin didn't feel right and noticed new areas of concern that developed after starting to use it, thankfully this was when I found Berfin and Past Skincare.

Berfin was so helpful answering my questions about diet which doctors had said didn't affect my skin, and in a desperate attempt to get some control back I decided to stop using pro topic and start treating my skin naturally using the Calm Balm. I gave myself 3 months to see if it would work based on others reviews, I won't lie it gets a lot worse before it gets better but as Berfin reminded me this was normal and consistency would be the key to repairing my skin. My skin was so dry but with the addition of the cleanser over time the redness and sore dry skin started to improve and by the 2 month mark I really started to feel an improvement both physically and mentally.

Berfin was amazing when there was a delivery issue and ensured I got a new order so I wouldn't be without it on my birthday, which gave me the confidence to go out and enjoy my day. I'm now 4 months into using the calm balm and cleanser and I feel so much more confident in my skin, the improvement has been amazing and i'll continue to use the products to help keep flares at bay and maintain the calm new skin I have. Recently I used a korean sunscreen that I ordered from amazon and mixed it with foundation. I got an allergic reaction 🥹 it was sooo bad. Within a week calm balm saved my skin. Now I’m using the cleanser at is has changed the game! It literally improved my texture 🥹🩷 I’m so grateful to you past skincare!! I’m hoping for more products from this brand.

The Calm Balm has been such a game-changer for my skin! I deal with eczema and TSW, and most products make things worse—but this balm is different. I had eczema since I was a kid but it has calmed down until I turned 15 and for the past few years I used steroid that’s only fixed the problem for a little while until I stopped using them. When I came across this I was desperate and thought why not try it and I’m glad I did it’s calmed my eczema down in three months from constantly being itchy and sore to not being sore at all and only itchy sometimes but I would highly recommend it.
